Engineering major Ryan Cudo pours water which will freeze and help stablize the vertical supports during the raising of the 2013 ice arch in Cornerstone Plaza on the Fairbanks campus. Students this year built the structure out of a mixture of ice and sawdust, which is many times stronger than concrete.
