Daisy Huang, a research engineer for the Alaska Center for Energy and Power, works with intern Luke George to level a SODAR station on a hillside near the Black Rapids Lodge. The station uses sound waves to measure atmospheric distrubances to produce a profile of wind speed and direction at a range of altitudes.
